You just don't get people like this all the time. Sometimes there are people whose legacy and work transcend the image and the creative space in which they've created. For all of his works splendor he was a designer who never looked at himself as someone who was incredibly great. His humility as a person allowed him to work continuously to create some of the most unique and timeless pieces in fashion. His designs were strong, and filled with a colorful and illustrious grandeur of Victorian Gothic. His fashion shows were bold, edgy and set him apart from his peers. Alexander McQueen is timeless even in his death and his work along with his vision will live for decades to come.
