If you have never heard of New York City's MASA then don't fell bad ill let you in on what you are missing. This is a world renowned sushi bar known for its extremely excellent food, famous chef, and its steep prices. For starters, just to get a seat at MASA the base price is 450 dollars. That may seem like a bit much but it doesn't stop people from rushing into their doors every day. To get a seat at MASA you must reserve it, people come from all over the world to get a taste of the what most agree to be one of the best sushi restaurants in the world. Operated by world famous Master chef Masayoshi Takayama(seen below) one of the most interesting things about the restaurant is that there are no menus and no real choice at your disposal, you are simply at the chefs will. To some that may be a turn off, until you taste the meal. Outside of China this is simply the most breathtaking sushi experience you will find in western hemisphere.
