Marc Jacobs

Marc Jacobs
The Great American Fashion Designer

If you have any knowledge of fashion then you have heard the name Marc Jacobs uttered on the lips of practically anyone who knows anything about fashion. In an industry completely dominated by Europeans, Marc Jacobs has become the pinnacle of all things fashion.  Mark has done the imaginable, in the early 90's he was credited for saving the house of Louis Vuitton which he is still the creative director of. This was a remarkable feat in a sense because not only was he relatively young but he is also an American creating French fashion that was accepted worldwide. What Marc has done for fashion is immense, in an industry where styles and trends fade quickly he has managed to stay relevant and fresh to the consumer for over 20 years. This is a man who hasn't been afraid to believe in himself and do things his way. Truly one of the great American treasures.

"If you have 5 minutes free in New York you are a failure, If you have 5 minutes free in Paris you are a success"
 - Marc Jacobs
